Alana De La Garza is beautiful and has been leaving an imprint in the small screen. De La Garza's parents were both Irish and Mexican American. She was born in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December, 1976. In the next few years, she moved to Texas in search of her career in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Florida, Orlando and took part in various acting roles. These included local independent films as well as global commercials. Despite her small roles, De La Garza began to realize her love for acting. After moving in New York and in 2001 she got her first part on the soap opera for daytime viewers All My Children as Rosa Santos. A short moment later De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring part. The role was Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She played Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. Milano. Her parents are of Italian origin and has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. She was brought up in an orthodox, religious family. Milano's career began at age seven, the time her babysitter drove for an audition. The audition she took part in was one of over 1,000 applicants. Her audition was taken among only four girls. Milano was featured in television ads, Off-Broadway productions as well as the American premier of Jane Eyre.
