Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is beautiful and has been leaving an imprint in the small screen. De La Garza's parents were both Irish and Mexican American. She was born in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December, 1976. In the next few years, she moved to Texas in search of her career in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Florida, Orlando and took part in various acting roles. These included local independent films as well as global commercials. Despite her small roles, De La Garza began to realize her love for acting. After moving in New York and in 2001 she got her first part on the soap opera for daytime viewers All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the initial decade of 2000, she acted smaller roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she was selected for her first role in a series on The Mountain which was an ephemeral television drama. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with some of the greatest TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. The most memorable part of her career was on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. She then joined the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous Awards, including the Best Supporting Actress - TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. She was awarded an Impact Award in 2008 for her exceptional performance in dramatized television shows from National Hispanic Media Coalition. A short moment later De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring part. The role was Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She played Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. It was put on hold after two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are of Italian origin and has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. She was brought up in an orthodox, religious family. Milano's career began at age seven, the time her babysitter drove for an audition. The audition she took part in was one of over 1,000 applicants. Her audition was taken among only four girls. Milano was featured in television ads, Off-Broadway productions as well as the American premier of Jane Eyre.
